Phyno Nigerian Artiste Biography History
Azubuike Chibuzo Nelson is a prominent Nigerian rapper and producer
that go with the stage name “Phyno” he was able to ink his name in the
book of great rappers that hail from Nigeria after his sucessful release
of some good tracks including O set , Olabam , Man of the Year and the
must mention track Ghost Mode where he featured his other half Olamide
who is no doubt his brother when it comes to producing good hit .
Phyno the Nigerian rapper and producer officially started his
struggle as a producer back in 2003 but later switch to the other side
of the music business . The rapper was born on the 9th of October 1986 ,
hails from Anambra state but was born and brought up in the street of
Enugu state state .
He is a graduate who studied Public Administration at the Institute
of Management and Technology(IMT) in Enugu State. The rapper’s dream was
to be a pilot but his love for music couldn’t let his dream come true
and he opened up in a recent interview that his music career stated
during his secondary school days when he use to play drum and piano in
the church before he took music professionally .
August 2014,the Oringo crooner became one of Guiness Nigeria’s
ambassador in their made in black campaign alongside with Olamide and
Eva Alordiah .This man of the year is the 4th child in a family of 5 .
Phyno, whose real name is Chibuzor Azubuike, is a
producer, song writer and artist. He wass previously associated with
Pent House Records; an independent label and just recently signed a
record deal with Capital Hills Records.
